Ban Chok Dee Thai Cuisine

Always good here but this time they must have been very short in the kitchen. Food took close to an hour before it showed up. Again…always been great here so no need to dwell on this!

We have been to this restaurant at least four times now. The food is excellent but the service is incredibly slow. The staff are friendly and do their best, but the food always takes at least 45 minutes to come out. During our most recent dining experience it took one hour. In my opinion this is too long to wait for a meal. We would still recommend this resturant to a friend, based on the excellent food and nice atmosphere, but I will be sure to warn them about wait times for meals.

The food was presented well, was hot and fresh and each dish had its own unique flavours. We tried a number of dishes and everything was delicious. Our server was engaging and had helpful suggestions. We’ll definitely dine there again!

Excellent Thai food. Service would have been much better, I’m sure, if it wasn’t Mother’s Day and if Open Table had not messed up our reservation. If you reserve using Open Table, I recommend calling the restaurant to confirm the time. We weren’t the only ones that had issues. I received my confirmation of a 6pm reservation, but the hostess had us down for 7:30. Now, as I was prompted to provide this review, it asked how our 7:30 reservation worked out. There is definitely a glitch somewhere. However, the food was, as always, excellent.

Love this place!

Food was very good. It was very busy though so we waited 40 minutes for appetizer then another half an hour before part of dinner was served. We asked for the rest to go. Server was very gracious and apologetic. Maybe thy were down a kitchen person. Food was fresh cooked though and delicious

The food is really good, the place is nice and well decorated but the service is awful and rude.

A busy little place in Langley where the food is delicious and the service is prompt. Try the papaya salad, it’s refreshing and a must every time we go there. I highly recommend this Thai restaurant.

Not happy about the appy portion size for the dollar amt, it was delicious but used salad as filler for the plate they put it on. Also no spring rolls available. Entree was delicious and lunch portion was reasonable.
