Food was excellent, was glad to return to a bit of normalcy
Mumar (sp?) the manager was fantastic at listening to our concerns. The food was subpar and the timing for drinks was not the greatest but once we talked to the manager the experience got a bit better.
Ambience was okay, seated at a table very close to another party which was a bit uncomfortable considering the restaurant was almost empty. Service was okay, unfortunately the host and the server kept asking us the saem questions within minutes of each other so lots of interruptions. They didnt seem to be communicating very well. We also had to specifically request to see the cocktail menu as it was missed when the server provided paper menus to us. Otherwise, great food (a bit on the pricey side for what you get though).
Excellent experience! Really great variety in the menu and the lobster rolls are to die for. Will definitely grab a couple girlfriends and do a happy hour here soon.
Great service. Was disappointed in my meal, which was undercooked. They gave me a voucher for a discount, but I’d rather have had a meal I could eat.. Very noisy, so it was hard to have a conversation. It might be better if they turned down the music.
Consistently good service and food with a menu that has a variety of choices.
This location knocked it out of the park for my friend’s bachelorette luncheon! They went above and beyond with a gorgeous little table set up with decor and flowers for the bride, and the service was fantastic! Thank you to the S + L South Surrey crew!
Initially we were seated in a booth, but I asked to be moved as the seat cover fabric was ripped and looked horrible. Very poor care of dining furniture.

Great Happy Hour the Oysters on the half shell were delicious as usual. Other Happy hour apps were also great. Great house wine VQA. Good value. Our Go to for Happy Hour in S Surrey White Rock.
S+L Kitchen is one of our favourites. The happy hour menu is extensive. They also have a very good app and birthday recognition with other good rewards. And our server was top notch.
Carpaccio is a must have. Their drinks are fantastic. Service was a little slow but it was a Friday night so we took that into consideration. Overall another great experience.

I’m not a person who typically puts in a poor review, I’m the customer that just won’t ever return. Since I was prompted by their follow up from our reservation last night to give a review- here it goes! Unfortunately, a terrible experience. Have gone many times in the past and found it very good. Last night we had a reservation, not greeted, had to flag someone down to seat us, waited 20 minutes and had to again find a server. ( Joked around that we should phone the restaurant and ask someone to come to our table to serve us)Manager attempted to make it better with a free bottle of wine, which we appreciated, but then the calamari was extremely over cooked, couldn’t even eat it. Server was a lovely gal, and tried her best. I understand that staffing is challenging right now but the problems were many. Too many other great restaurants that would appreciate my patronage, so I don’t think I will return any time soon.
Had crab cakes, master chicken, chicken bowl and beef dip. Food was okay but definitely nothing special.
Overpriced. Small pprtion. Service was mediocre. Never came to ask how meal was. Forgot to bring ice to table when asked.
We had an enjoyable experience. Nice atmosphere, excellent service and happy hour wine was pleasant and reasonable. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the food. With so few main course menu items, you would think management would insure the food was the of best quality and prepared to perfection. My sirloin steak was so tough my jaw was aching by the time I finished it. Only the Keg can serve up a tougher steak. My wife’s halibut was over cooked. The carpaccio was excellent, no complaints there. I think next time we’ll stick with the carpaccio and burgers.

We spent 4 hours here the ambiance is perfect, the time passed so fast good food great drinks. Chefs pay attention to details on plates! Love 🙂
