Each coarse was perfectly prepared. And while the servers were obviously ‘new’ they were attentive and professional. We look forward to attending Dunlop House again
Great place to dine. The students try very hard to ensure the diners enjoy their meals. The meal portions are just enough.
As a long time customer of Dunlop House I used to recommend the place to all my friends. I would be reluctant to do so after our last experience there. The pita bread that we were served was completely tasteless and the white bean hummus (which I generally love) was over seasoned with something like fennel seeds. The appetizers looked “tired”, like they were on plates, exposed to air for quite some time. One of the main courses ( vegetable strudel) was almost inedible, with a very salty mushroom sauce on the side and a filling comprised of mostly turnips. The service was very poor as well which is a rarity at Dunlop House. The tables were properly set, with beautiful spring flowers, the music was nice and the host (manager?) was polite, helpful and very professional. I will continue to go to this restaurant in the hope that once again I will be served an outstanding meal, worthy of compliments, as I had there many times over the years.
We had a lovely lunch. Excellent food, service and timing. Look forward to returning.
Really nice time!
delicious desserts and tasty main course. Good Covid protocol. Friendly and attentive staff
Very pleased with all aspects. Have been several times over the past few years and look forward to going again, whenever possible.
Lovely meal in a very nice setting. Student servers have obviously been told to check back with diners on a regular basis but perhaps this doesn’t need to happen quite so often.
