Recently went with clients. It’s very small but a good vibe with excellent service. Staff know the menu by heart and very knowledgeable on wines. We shared all the plates we ordered which gave us a good sampling. Some were fantastic and others ok. Overall…great night and believe the menu changes regularly to keep things fresh.
The buzz was strong as I entered the non addressed door to Dreyfus. Not crazy loud, friendly and happy. The room is cute and seems to meander. The tables are still nicely spaced. I was greeted by many each friendlier than the one before. I…had a cozy table and asked for a wine list….there is none and that’s all good because Carmelina knows her bottles. Just describe and it is brought to you. Everything is by the glass and I love it. Keegan was around the most and a ton of fun, thanks Keegan! The food is simple and so thoughtful, perfectly cooked by Chef Kolomeir. There are fun dishes like the Cubano and glorious dishes like a classic Oyster Rockefeller. I can’t tell you what to eat because the menu changes non stop so try everything that tickles your fancy. Thanks all and see you soon. I reserved this restaurant many weeks ago because all the reviews were so positive. They are right, the food is wonderful. However, if you go alone, as I did, they sit you on a stool at what they call their stand-up bar. That is because…it is more comfortable to stand than to sit with no leg room at all. So if you have a friend, go and enjoy (the trout and the chocolate dessert were both wonderful).
