Great Japanese cuisine. Lunch is usually not busy and the dinning room is quite which allows for good conversation with those you are eating with.
The service was terrible
Great place to have conversation and downtime, with great food!
Good service but the foods needed to improved. Some of the sashimi were not fresh and the soft shell crab deep fried powder paste were too thick.
We sat in the dining room and it was perfect. The food was prepared perfectly, and was beyond delicious. I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful waitress, she had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. She and other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed, which made our meal that much more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
Really mediocre food with inattentive service. Glad we went for old time sake but really just meh. Servers seemed to want to be elsewhere and chefs seemed bored.
We booked this as a part of winterlicious and didn’t realize we were going to one of those restaurants where the chef is a true showman and cooks fresh ingredients in front of you. Excellent experience with good quality food.
The chef made the dishes in front of us, which is the teppanyaki main selling point. However, the dishes were delivered too fast. I arrived at 6 pm and I would leave at 6:45 pm. I would like to enjoy the dish more, bit by bit. The noise was created by a child far away, but it was very annoying. I understood this was not the restaurant’s fault. It still affected my mood in the restaurant.
I booked this restaurant for Winterlicious but i didn’t know that dining room was for regular menu. When I asked the server, he was very nice and told me he would speak to the host. The host took his time to address my inquiry and when the server did get confirmation that I could move, the host said to leave it and he would move my table later. After sitting a few more minutes, he came by and stated blandly, “so you want winterlicious?” I confirmed and then he just picked up the menus and water. There was no further dialogue exchanged and attitude was unpleasant. This set the mood for the entire meal which was unfortunate given that our cook and servers were friendly. The meal was good but not filling for all parties. Ice cream was the best part.
Food was great and service was wonderful
Expected some sort of chef show for teppanyaki, especially for winterlicious. All he did was making a volcano with onion and that was it. The whole cooking was done in less than 10min. No music was on in the restaurant either. It was dead quiet. My 2 and 4 year old kids were still hungry after spending close to $250. So not worth the money.
Over all we were happy . They could have dimmed the lights. We felt like we were sitting under spot lights. The food and service were great!!!!
Excellent food and service. very relaxing atmosphere. Would go back again.
Very good food, service was amazing everything came out on time. Only disappointment was the size of the lobster in the lobster and steak meal not much lobster in the actual pieces my date and I received. Aside from that it was a great dinner.
Lovely dinner for two. Service was attentive but unintrusive. Food was well executed. Would go back again!
