Bati Bassac

We loved our experience at Bati Bassac. Fun atmosphere – lighting, cool design. Good service. The cocktails were unique, special, and very yummy. The food was SO GOOD. Our appetizer was some kind of fried meatballs (Lao) with a spicy honey sauce. We loved it….For dinner we had the meat skewer trio with the house curry sauce and Le Amok. Both were incredible but Le Amok made us angry because it was so good!! Can’t stress enough how good the food was. We didn’t even talk to each other because we were busy enjoying.

One of the best meals I had in all of Quebec, and one of the best Thai/Cambodian meals I’ve had as well. Enjoyed the Lao meatballs (which were absolutely to die for, flavourful and crispy), skewer trio (nice sampler of their meats with different preparations),…and the Amok Curry (wonderful curry dish with white fish and incredible flavours). Cocktails were quite nice as well, and the restaurant had a very cool atmosphere with a combination of natural/wood elements and fun modern decor. Great staff as well. Would recommend very highly to anyone who enjoys Thai or Cambodian food.

Had our meal at the Bati Bassac terrace. Excellent service and the meal was delicious. Almost felt like Thailand…except for the weather. Thanks for a great meal. We will be back next time we visit Quebec City.

Best asian restaurant by far in Quebec city. I love the vibe and the food is also excellent! Great staff.
