Came here for Christmas get together and was not disappointed. The decor is cozy and welcoming, restaurant is very intimate and inviting. Service was warm and friendly. Food is unique and does not disappoint. As the menu varies monthly, I recommend you come with an…open mind and book in advance. The tasting menu requires time but is SO worth it. The restaurant is only open 2 days a week so book early.
Had a wonderful 7 course meal and wine pairing. So much food! If anyone leaves hungry I have no idea how. So much variety, well prepared, a variety of flavours and foods you may never order otherwise. It is a “surprise” menu, chefs choice. Beaujena…is so kind, and it is a cozy atmosphere. Try it out if you are adventurous and wanting to try new foods throughout many courses. If you don’t like that sort of thing or are not willing to try new foods this is not the place for you. Thank you for the lovely evening! We had a great time. (*They are very responsive to all covid rules and distancing, restrictions and cleanliness are followed*)More
A true culinary experience to remember. Beaujena and Randy are amazing hosts and the seven course meal is truly a work of art. The wine pairings were just one example of the hours of preparation that go into every Saturday evening. If you are in…Winnipeg and looking for a dining experience that will be the highlight of your trip Beaujena’s is not to be missed.
This is our favourite place for an evening out. The owners/operators are foodies and wine experts, and they bring that passion to every aspect of the experience. Food: The menu changes frequently, and the 7 course tasting menu ensures that you get to try everything….We attend regularly, to see what has changed. Since we started going, I have been served roughly 60 different dishes over the years, I have never seen a repeat, and I have loved every single one. Wine: For my partner and I, this is a fantastic and delicious way to try out a number of wines to see what we like. Do the wine pairing menu, and you will not be disappointed. On our way out, we take pictures of the bottles we loved. Great variety (last night we had some bubbles,, old world, new world, South Africa, there is often port or sherry). The owner provides tasting notes, and information about the winery. It is a very small dining room (5 or 6 tables). As you walk in all the wines you will be tasting are laid out for you to view (which will give you a bit of a hint about what the evening will be like and what they will be serving). It honestly feels lIke you are walking into a secret dinner club. They are passionate about the food and wine, and it shows. After you have finished, they are happy to tell you about all of the ingredients (some of which they grew in their garden or sourced locally).
