Fabulous food, fantastic service! Always an awesome experience!
Everything was excellent! We were also able to eat on the deck which was great on a sunny almost Spring day.
Dine out Vancouver menu was fantastic!! My short rib was melt in your mouth and my husbands sable fish was perfect! Covid has made dining out stressful but we loved every minute!!
Overall really enjoyed the atmosphere, the croquettes need seasoning but the sable fish with lobster risotto was amazing topped off with the chocolate cake with cream. Happy hour sangria was so good. Service was great and the staff is so nice!
Food was good but the value for Dine Out was not good. Very small portions!
Portion size was ridiculously small. Had the sable fish, it was literally two bites or the fish, and 2 spoons of risotto. The chocolate cake with Chantilly cream was super heavy and sweet, I took one bite and was done. Appetizer was also super tiny, had the lobster crab croquettes, was 3 bite sized squished ball with a small bit of arugula salad. My bf had the seafood pasta dish, it’s literally seafood mixed with pasta and tomato sauce, flavour was like old spaghetti factory, but way smaller in portion size, the clams had sand in still. Overall, very disappointing.

Dining room was well socially distanced
Being a local resident the blue Canoe has been a favorite of ours for many years. Food always good and service excellent. Also the best view in Steveston.

Extremely greasy fish (fish and chips) with over battered fish. WAs really terrible! Crab dip was great though. Server was good.

The table choices were very limited. The corner where we were seated had very poor air circulation and was positioned under a loud speaker. Otherwise food was good and service was great.
This restaurant is really lovely and the food is very good. There service too is on the high end with attentive servers and staff. The only downside is that since it is quite small the noise level can get a bit high, but if you don’t mind that, I highly recommend it for a nice night out for a good meal. And the location is super–on the wharf in quaint and wonderful Steveston Village in Richmond.
