Great ambiance, food and service. Go to restaurant for perfect beef.

I wasn’t a fan of the gravy on the prime rib. I would rather have had au jus that I could put on myself. My husband didn’t mind the gravy. Huge portion of prime rib and service was terrific. We were asked if it was a special occasion and it was my husband birthday but nothing was said.

We are never disappointed when we eat at the Cattlebaron. Tonight the steaks were amazingly delicious.

Average service. Ribs slightly overdone.

Took the opportunity to have a meal out the last night before restaurants were shut down again. We enjoyed our meal. Dad loved the double baked potato and steak. My husband and son loved their steaks, wedge salad, and veg. I wasn’t very hungry so had the burger for the first time. It was moist, flavourful, and worth every bite. Dad had the orange creamsicle cheesecake for dessert. It was delicious. My son had the chocolate cake but couldn’t finish it after a big meal. Will be back when they reopen.

Great experience at this Cattle Baron. We have been to other ones but this was the first time at Royal Oak. Food was excellent and plentiful. All around a great experience.

The Cattle Baron is one of our go-to places when I’m craving a good steak. The service is always excellent, the food quality and flavour high and the ambience of the restaurant pleasant and inviting. This time was no exception and my partner and I spent an enjoyable evening dining at a table for two. The steak and veal we had we very good and our server was just attentive enough that we never wanted for anything.
