Waited almost exactly an hour after being seated to get our food. 2/3 of the steaks we ordered were too tough to eat, but the last one turned out alright. The Chicken Parmesan was nothing special. The noodles were beyond boring, literally nothing to complement…them except plain white sauce. I personally had the pleasure of having the sun burn out my retinas because they couldn’t invest in a decent set of blinds. Complained to the waitress and then the manager showed up, and basically acknowledged how bad it was and said that they probably picked a bad cut of meat, which isn’t what you want when you’re paying $50 for a special. All in all, an overpriced and bad dining experience. Maybe we got unlucky, but that doesn’t mean we’re coming back. Definitely was not worth the wait or the money. We got comped for one of the specials (even though two of them were bad) but that’s not enough to sway my opinion.
Came with my family hoping for a decent meal and drinks. The beer I ordered was not available, which I learned about 10 minutes from the moment I ordered it. Ordered another one, then we all ordered our main courses. About 40 minutes later the…waitress came and told us that there was a “delay at the kitchen” and our meals will be ready soon. 20 more minutes, no signs of the food. Even the people sitting next to us who came later have got their meals. I asked the waitress about the delay and the story was the same. Finally I had to tell her that we are leaving in 2 minutes if she does not bring us the food. I asked to see the manager, the lady came and with somewhat dismissive attitude told us that they are experiencing some delays and everything will be ready soon. Our dinner was already ruined, nobody in my family wanted to stay any more. Finally, 5 more minutes later we have left the restaurant, I have left them enough cash on the table to cover the cost of drinks that we have not even finished. Shortly after we exited, another manager ran after us. He tried to apologize but the evening was already ruined and we had little time left to quickly grab some food elsewhere. He also told us that, in fact, it was the waitress who forgot to put the order in the system, so she lied to us and blamed the kitchen and the manager we talked to before was just covering that lie. Will never return to this place on our next visit to Calgary.
