Regardless that the restaurant was under renovation and the long wait for my order. I ended up ordering from my hotel room. Infused Spaghetti one of the best dishes that I ever tasted❣️The fresh cherry tomatoes infused with fresh basil, nicoise black olives combined with…the extra virgin olive oil made this outstanding spaghetti an explosion of flavors. Was recently in Hamilton, staying at the Sheraton. Went downstairs for breakfast. Was greeted by a nice hostess and placed at a table facing King Street. Was served by a pleasant waitress. Food arrived in a decent time. Meal was quite bland. Bacon was rather…stringy, potatoes were passable and toast was mediocre. I guess I expected more from the dining room at one of the biggest hotels in the city. Has the feel of a chain breakfast restaurant. I won’t say it is awful, but for a big downtown hotel, it was a little flat. If you need breakfast and need it now, there is nothing wrong with it.
Went to Chagalls in the Sheraton for breakfast. Not our first choice but the place we wanted to go to was closed. That may have turned out for the best as Chagalls was wonderful. Seated really quick, the wait staff had coffee poured almost after…sitting down and I wanted a breakfast that was going to be sustaining. I figured it would be expensive but I was pleasantly surprised that it was a great value. The eggs were perfect, the sauce was really tasty and it was served hot! Kudos to the cooks and wait staffMore
Nothing Special, went for Breakfast, was average, nothing fancy. The VERY best Buffet is at the Sheraton Fallsview.
The service was great — as usual. We were going to a concert and love the small plates menu there at The Loft bar. We reserved only to find that the small plates menu was not being served due to “busy” concert.
We were with a group of 10. We had a great Christmas dinner. Portions were great. I really enjoyed the salad with the roasted pears. Service was very attentive. A great to visit downtown Hamilton.
