Elbow River Casino Restaurant

I go all the time for the dim sum on the weekends! It is very fresh and delicious… all at a great price point! and free parking if you park in the casino parkade.

We were regulars for Dim Sum at Elbow River Casino for a few years because of the convenient parking and prices at $4.25/dish. We stopped going around FEB 2017 as it wasn’t as good before. Today, we decided to try it again and noticed that…the price per item has gone up to $4.75 for the regular dim sum items. It was good but we were disappointed with the congee; when it arrived it wasn’t nice and hot, just warm. Har gows are okay, the dough hasn’t changed a bit…still seems undercooked on the bottom. Curry Squid, very good and tender; chicken feet needed more sauce when it arrived but we just scooped up the juice from the bottom and ladled it on. Service from the young servers was very good; the older gal seems to be in such a rush all the time. Cashier needs to lighten up a lot and show some customer-focused service. Worth trying, yes.

They made changes to there menu they call it international sucks they took all the good food out and replace it with chipper foods we will not go there any more.

Spent the past couple nights volunteering at the casino, was able to sample several things off a very large menu. All the things I ate were delicious, great selection of Asian and Western cuisine. I never tried any of the buffet, but everyone that I…was with said it was great.

I’ve had a few meals here while working casinos and I thought the food was pretty good. Lots of variety, might have to the dim sum some weekend.
