Kitsilano Natural Foods is a supermarket within walking distance from Kitsilano Beach that specializes in health food products. We carry an assortment of produce, baking supplies, dairy, coffees, teas, snacks and ethnic products. Ham cheese counter in the back. A Vietnamese kitchen is available in the back that offers Pho, Vermicelli, Rice and Banh Mi. Cafe style seating available in the front.
This should not be classified as a restaurant, although you can order Vietnamese food in the back, like lots of grocery stores. It’s still mainly a grocery store. Large selection of natural and ethnic foods and pretty good prices. Very much needed in this neighbourhood…at York and Yew as there are lots of restaurants nearby but nowhere to buy natural foods. There is a convenience store across the street, but these two shops cater for different needs. Definitely worth a visit and locals no longer need to climb that hill up to 4th to shop at Whole Foods.

Coronavirus,. Deliveries are after 6:30 p.m. It supplies its email — [email protected] —- to place orders, also giving payment instructions. As well, it wishes its customer well. It is closing earlier than it did previously, now at 7 p.m. so staff can sanitize & restock but is opens from mornings as before. KNF opened in 2008 on West Broadway, moving to its current location serving the lower Kits neighborhood. now the only one open since its counterpart across the road closed Its doors temporarily a few weeks ago. As well as picking up groceries, I have eaten from its takeout kitchen, where it makes an assortment of sandwiches as well as some Vietnamese dishes to go. KNF offers a wide selection of packaged food, especially for a smaller shop , as well as foods in bulk format & some fruit & vegetables. It is a good place to know about & that it is helping the neighborhood procure food through these difficult times through a number of means. Its convenient location is right next to The Ellis, where one can pop in after an evening shop at KNG, for drinks & hot food to go, as it is open til 9 p.m. for takeouts. The Humans IPA tall can is offered for 6$ & is very tasty. It is now making dinner pre-order specials for Friday nights, after selling out of its Sunday Easter Turkey Dinner for 25$. It intends offering the dinners of ribs & chicken at the same price of 25$ The chef is always there to make one’s orders quickly — & one also, when one goes, gets charming & friendly service from Cami, who is bartender, server & host rolled into one, alongside owner Kevin Day.
