Lin Heung Restaurant – Village Square

This is our go-to spot for when we are craving typical, greasy, westernized Chinese food. We get all the usual suspects- chow mein, sweet and sour pork, almond chicken, fried rice etc. I love to have the war wonton as well. It’s not fancy or…super quality but it’s affordable, tastes like you expect and fills a void when you’re just craving that kind of comfort food. Will return for this purpose again and again.

Hi there: My wife and I tried this restaurant for eat in as we have always enjoyed takeout but eating in was truly not worth the effort and this is my first review that forces me to think of the word pathetic. The war won…ton didn’t win the war! The rest of the meal was Terrible. We ordered seafood chow main and I think the rest of the prawns were on strike because only one showed up. The squid was uncooked and chewy, I might as well ordered a stick of chewing gum. We complained and the waitress said :Seafood IS Expensive! I do not recommend this Restaurant for eat in, although it is conveniently located near the Gordon Head Medical Clinic just down the street. Thank You.

I order take out food here quite often as I live in the area and the food is consistently good. Last night when I went to use the interact machine to pay for the order,which I seem to have some difficulty with,the young girl was…condescending and rude, reminding me that they had had that particular device for 2 months now and that being a fairly regular customer I should have no difficulty using it by now.Interact machines bug me, and this particular one bugs me even more.Her customer relations skills need some work!More
