Panaderia Latina Bakery

Heard about the Latin foods there and thought we would give them a try. Ordered the Chacarero. Shaved steak, tomatoes and beans on a bun. Not disappointed. The meat was tender and very tasty. The portions were generous and the price for the amount of…filling was fair. Menu is limited but it is worth a visit.

An ethnic place to enjoy Chilean food and baking goods. We went there to celebrate Chile’s Independence Day , and we were not disappointed with our order: “Chacareros”, a meat and veggies sandwich , so good. They have lots of different kinds of pastries, using…a lot of “Dulce de leche”, so popular in South America . Located a bit far from the downtown area, but, the Metro takes you right there. Nicely set, with decorations white, blue & red, Chile’s national colors. Very festive, a very popular place with the locals.

Well I’ve been meaning to go here after it was featured on You Gotta Eat Here. And eat here, I did. It did not disappoint. Sure it was a tad expensive for a bakery cafe but the taste compensated for it. I had the Churrasco…Palta (Chilean Beef and Avocado) It was delicious. Thick pieces of beef and loads of guacamole. I also had 6 pieces of desert buns for 5 dollars to take out. So overall it was very good and tasty.

I have been going here for years and their beef empanadas are fantastic! They remind me of how my family used to make them growing up. Plus they have other tasty treats there for dessert! You won’t be disappointed.

Friends told me about the Panaderia Latina Bakery which they viewed on TV (You Gotta Eat Here). Their experience was so satisfying that they insisted that I try their beef empananadas. I first arrived on a Wednesday (bad idea ‘cuz the bakery is closed on…Wednesdays and Sundays. There is no off street parking and the premises are not large. The empananadas were fantastic so much so that I bought a bag full to bring home to enjoy.

If you like empanadas or like the Brazilians says “Pastel” this is a good place to try. There are the beef and cheese ones. Also they have other products that are easily found in Latin America countries, like the pop Guarana, which is a sweet…Brazilian fruit and Açaí! They have a kind of Bakery as well so it worth a try.

Highly recommend stopping by here for a meal! The food here is awesome, the staff are great and the prices are very reasonable. There’s so many pastries and treats, it’s hard to pick which one to try! We will definitely be back to try more.

Sweet little find! We wanted to try some Chilean food and this was the closest we could find. It’s a grocery store loaded with Latin products and foods. They have a bakery as well and it all looked pretty delicious. I’d heard the empanadas were…amazing, we ordered 2 beef and 2 chicken. They are quite large and 6$ each. They were warm already. We grabbed napkins and headed off to a park! Yummy! They were so good! I had the beef. It’s mixed with onions, olives in a bit of a tomato sauce. So good! My friend had the chicken and he really enjoyed that as well. We will be back!More

We both ordered the Chacarero Beef sandwich with green beans, tomatoes and Mayonnaise. The beef was fresh cooked and abundant. The sandwiches were great. I added a Mexican spicy sauce that elevated the taste. We also had 2 Chicen Empanadas which are beautifully prepared and…quite tasty. The filling is marinated sautéed Chicken, egg, olive, and… Very tasty and good.
