Walked in and enjoyed great brunch, starting with mimosas, flat white coffee and Still Road brunch. Kids enjoyed sharing a margarita pizza. Friendly, helpful staff – welcoming and helpful.
Our first choice, the nearby Homer Street Cafe, was forced to close due to a COVID emergency and they recommended the nearby per se Social Corner as an alternative. Even though it was already a busy night for the Social Corner they welcomed us and…gave us a wonderful table near the front of the restaurant. We didn’t know what to expect but it turns out the Social Corner was a fabulous experience, with very friendly staff and incredible food (try the scrumptious Seafood Paella and the house made gelato). The decor has a bistro feel, on steroids. There are soaring ceilings, spectacular light fixtures and a huge wall of overstock bottles and foodstuffs. A new favourite and highly recommended.
A beautiful cozy place where you can have good beer, wine and meal as well. The Atmosphere is chic and suitable for dates, work meetings , couples and …
After making reservations, we arrived and were seated at a wonderful window table with a nice view. The ambiance and imported decor was very interesting, the service was excellent and the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu, as a group of 4 people we…ordered the “Barbaro”, (a large charcuterie platter) absolutely wonderful! The staff is efficient friendly and professional. Our sever even provided a few laughs . We left satisfied and felt like we had made new friends and we are looking forward to going back again. ?More
Had a great time here at per se Social Corner. The staff were incredible and the food was very good. Definitely want to come back again soon!
Went there for brunch with friend, and got a table at the patio which was lovely. Service was great, wait staff was attentive and helpful. I ordered benedict and my friend had ravioli both were so delicious. We shared gelato, had 1 scope of lemon…sorbet and 1 scope of blueberry scope. My friend found the lemon sorbet too sour but I like it, she prefer the blueberry sorbet which was quite unique. My first time having blueberry sorbet. We both had a great time, and will go there againMore
Quite disappointed with the change in management recently. The prices have increased significantly ($12 for a beer, $20 for a glass of wine, $35 lunch burgers, $10 to add chicken to a $20 lunch salad, etc.), the service has become pretentious and inflexible, and they…impose rigid policies (won’t seat until your whole party is there even when the restaurant is empty, 6 people max per table even without health restrictions, etc.). I used to be a regular but will be going elsewhere in the future. Homer St. Cafe across the street is great.
My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on a Sunday. The hostess was friendly and seated us outside on the patio where we were served by Hailey (I hope I got the spelling correct). She was very pleasant and efficient. Attentive service…and assisted us with changing tables when we were joined by another couple. Drinks: Estrella, Guardian IPA and Jalepeno Margarita. They were all tasty and suited both the atmosphere and food. Food: we ordered some share plates as well as individual orders. I started with the LOBSTER + CRAB RAVIOLI and shared the WAGYU BEEF CARPACCIO, CALAMARI DI MAMMA and CHARRED IBERICO CHORIZO. Taste and portion size were spot on. It was a great afternoon of just relaxing and enjoying good company and delicious tapas.
2 of us stopped in on a Sunday around 2pm for snacks to tie us over until dinner. Love tapas style for these kinds of visits. Got a patio table at the end of the deck so it was nice & quiet. Great people watching…too. Hailey (sp?) was our server & did a good job keeping an eye on us. We devoured the lobster & crab ravioli (appy size each), the wagyu beef carpaccio, the calamari & the chorizo. I had an Electric lady drink to start & a few jalapeño margaritas. Friends joined us at 3pm & our server cleared up a table for 4 & moved us over effortlessly. We had more margaritas as we didn’t want to eat any more so close to dinner reservations. Our friends ordered some appies too & even more margaritas were had! I would highly recommend Per Se & will be back to try more food AND drinks & hopefully their pizzas too.
