Had lunch at Pub Des Borgia in the lower old Quebec City. Smaller patio and restaurants. Good food and service. Pub style menu as one would expect. Would try again.
We stopped for lunch at this historic spot. I had a meat sandwich that was not huge in size but was delicious and came with a giant pickle slice and chips (not fries). My companion had French onion soup – which she declared a winner….Great music, great food, awesome location and friendly (although a bit slow) service makes this place a 4 out of 5. Definitely worth a stop.
Outstanding service, beer, drinks, French onion soup and sandwiches. Stopped in for lunch and so glad we found this hidden gem. Definitely try the maple whisky shot and sip it.
My hubby and I popped in here for a pre-dinner drink. The host was so welcoming, we felt like regulars. I had read reviews that made it sound less safe with covid. But they carefully checked our vax and ID. There were only a few…other people there. So as safe as can be these days. We sat in the middle room, where the fireplace is. Even though we didn’t nab the seats right next to the fire, the bar seats were just fine. We may make it our go to cocktail hour spot while we’re here for the holidays. Cheers!More
Popped in to warm up and we were delighted to find a variety of games. We played cribbage and enjoyed a couple of drinks. It was Valentine’s day and we had no reservations for dinner but the bartender here recommended we call Louise, a nearby…tavern. They had a last-minute opening! What a fabulous duo this pub and then Louise Tavern was. Thanks Borgia!More
