Service was good , my wife’s meal was served cold, she didn’t let me know until we headed home
Every year my Husband and I go to Ray and Jerrys for our Anniversary. The food as always was wonderful. I always have the prime rib and as usually it was cooked to perfection. My Husband has the 12oz New York steak and was also cooked to perfection. We will continue to go every year. I have never had prime rib as good as at Ray and Jerrys.

Consistency! Outstanding! We always go back. I was addressed by my last name at the front door. Never happened to me in any other restaurants.
The food is always great and I love the quiet atmosphere. A great place to gather with friends and family.
The staff were welcoming and well trained to screen for Covid vaccination ID. Prime rib was juicy, flavourful and cooked to order. Attentive service and decent wine list remain a strength. The bar mixes a very good martini.
We very much enjoyed our meals and will be back to enjoy another meal soon
Rae and Jerry’s has been a favorite dining spot for us for many years. The 5 star service and food is consistent every time…and we love the retro décor and ambiance.
Food was delicious and service was very good.
We were celebrating 2 birthdays. All 4 of us enjoyed our meal very much. The service was excellent as well. My only critique is-the tables felt very close together- with people seated at the next table-their chairs were actually touching our chairs. Felt way too close.
Anniversary
I gave the food a three star rating simply because the homemade soup was very bland and the fried garlic shrimp was rubbery and tasteless. The steak however(which is why we came there)it was absolutely perfectly done and very tasty! I love the way one side of the restaurant looks over a nearby creek and surrounding foliage. The service was a little slow but not horribly sore. I will definitely be back, but just not ordering the shrimp again.
This was an awesome homemade style dinner. Certainly plenty of food. Our waitress was spectacular! Very now ce young girl. Made for a great dining experience. Hope to go next year again
Very slow service, plain, bland food and no presentation for the price of a really good meal in a different restaurant. I can’t believe this place has remained open for this long.
The overall meal and my steak in particular was excellent. My only criticism would be that the sides (we sampled most at our table) were all quite unremarkable if not even bland.
I asked for a table away from other diners and at first it was ok but we leaft as soon as we finished eating because it ws way too crowded we could not even walk out the way we came in e had to go to anouthern area to get out. I hope when we go next week that will not be the case.

Had a great time in a wonderful resturant with wonderful service and even better friends. The English cut roast beef was done to perfection as was my husbands steak. The food here is second to none and the staff are always great. Can not wait till they open for lunch time as they did before Covid.

Loved it. Great food but I wish restaurants would serve vegetables. White potatoes and a steak need a little colour on the plate . Protein (meat), starch (potatoes or rice) and and vegetables make a meal.
We really enjoyed our supper at Rae and Jerry’s. Food was great and our server Veronica was excellent!

THE Classic Winnipeg Dining Experience. Definitely a treat. If you are looking at just price, then some might be intimidated. But is it is a special occasion, you can never go wrong here. Incredible bar and selection, long time staff, the atmosphere and the space is great. Thanks again for the treat.

Rae and Jerry’s is legendary and it did not disappoint. Walking in there was like putting on a comfy old sweater. The food was stellar and the server was the best I’ve ever experienced. I wanted to ask him to join us! The red and dark wood combination, along with the Christmas decor made it feel special. Make sure you experience this Winnipeg classic at least once in your life.
