Red Rockets

When we are in town we always ensure that we make a trip to grab wings from this great wing joint. Our favourite are the breaded medium wings. A great combination of crispy breading and the absolute perfect amount of sweet and heat.

Not the healthiest meal option but once in awhile if you crave wings this is the place for takeout. Not a particular fan of the Caesar salad but the coleslaw is delicious.

Red Rockets has the best wings. We got some for a Superbowl party. Nice and tasty. I would highly recommend these wings.

We had been buying here for well over 2 years and the food was always delicious and service was always great. We’ve been purchasing wings the last few months from this place and each time, the quality got consistently worse. Last month, we ordered 2…lbs honey garlic for delivery and when the wings came.. they were cold, mushy and very undercooked. We couldn’t eat them. We called the store to rectify the issue or allow us to go pick up new wings and the employee told us “its a risk you take with delivery, sometimes you get the wings that sit for awhile. Sorry nothing we can do”. It was an atrosious display of customer service and completely ruined the love we had for RedRockets. We both will never go again and we know so many people recently who’ve experienced the same problem of undercooked and cold wings upon delivery with no assistance to rectify the problem.

I have bumped up my review one rating. The reason being we are still fans of red rockets. Again I point out that they have been around for a long time. Now the last 2 times we have ordered they have not been as great…or consistent as they were in the past. One was New Years eve, which I will give a hall pass for. We had them a 2nd time after new years in Feb and definitely below what we have had in the past. Not saying they were terrible, just not up to previous standards. We have had them where they were still hot to pick up at home. They have been warm at best, not sure what happened. I always order and get there so I get them right away and am home within 5 mins. Wings have gotten more expensive everywhere. They are still very tasty. We will still go there for take out, it could be they are just so busy these days. I do get it is hard to please everyone.

We have been ordering wings at red rockets for years , but lately we were very disappointed. Wings were tastey but the wings were so small that I would never order again.
