Own or work here?We are Canada’s first stand-up sushi! We are part of the same restaurant group as Sushi Masaki Saito and Shoushin which specialize in Japanese omakase. TACHI is the traditional way to eat well and eat conveniently. We have created a premium omakase menu that is served to you standing-up, and in less than 30 minutes just like stand-up sushi shops in Japan. Tachi also has a new patio bar serving Japanese beverages and appetizers.
COVID 19 UPDATE:
To ensure the safety of our customers and to comply with the government’s COVID-19 guideline for re-opening restaurants, we are limiting 4 guests for each round of omakase experience. We’ve expanded Tachi and now have 2 sushi bars with each serving only 4 guests per round.

Tachi did an excellent job at maintaining social distance standards while providing a stellar dining experience. My out of town guests really enjoyed the gourmet omakase and will come back again!

By far and away, Tachi is our go to sushi spot in the city. The best deal and quality sushi one can get in 30 minutes, and the selection which is always changing will showcase some fish you’ll get nowhere else!
