Amazing food and services. Just a bit pricey
Was delighted they held our reservation although we were almost 30 minutes late. Staff was polite and knowledgeable, very attentive and personable. Started with cappuccinos, then moved on to the tasting menu with wine pairing, oysters and cheese plate. Food was wonderful, superbly cooked and plated beautifully. Wine accompany wasn’t exciting, a lot were fairly flavourless so the very small pours weren’t an issue (when typically I’d be upset with such tiny pours.) Cheese selection was uninspired, but was a good offering of traditional cheeses. Ambience was on point, especially given new Covid-19 restrictions and this being a patio. The only tarnish to the evening was the incredibly boisterous table of 6 seated very closely behind us whom did not wear their masks when in the restaurant (one guest was even seated, walking through the entire restaurant, without even having a mask!!) and continually yelled at staff for more shots, old fashioneds and paper planes while swearing up a storm. The staff handled it very well, however I feel it’s also staffs job to make their guests adhere to COVID-19 policies, so it was very disappointing to see them “getting away” with such poor behaviour.
1. Good atmosphere and decoration in the patio – feel warm if you sit beside the heater 2. Simple food presentation but all of them taste excellent – if you don’t know what to try first, order the tasting menu 3. No menu for the tasting – changeable every week, so make sure you ask for the latest menu and price before you order (could be very different from the website) 4. No surprise dish for birthday celebration – wish they had something special..
Absolutely try their tasting menu – it is to DIE for! The nice thing is, for a small surcharge, they allow you to swap one or two things if you really want to try something else! Will be coming back, thanks for making our anniversary perfect!
Amazing food. Amazing service, would highly recommend. Great for a date night.
It was the best dinner I’ve had in a long time. I loved the patio vibe and the service was impeccable. They made us feel welcome and appreciated. Thank you.
Went for our 10th anniversary and hands down had some of the best food we’ve ever had. Expensive, but well worth the cost for a celebration dinner. Service was exceptional, the food was exceptional, the wine was wonderful, and we plan on going back for future celebrations.
We embraced our last dinner out before second lockdown in Toronto. Staffs were amazing and food was absolutely delicious. We will be back again once reopens for dine in!
You confirmed my booking, then I went to the restaurant and it was closed. I think you should update your site on what is actually going on, I mean open table web site. Basically I was in front of the place outside and it was not a good experience, since it was closed. What is truly amazing, is you are asking me about my experience. I have no comment about the restaurant, but Open Table sure sucks.
